@Joe Ragusa I don't think that's the case, in my opinion he got in a better shape after starting in a very bad shape due to the confinement in Slovenia and since the losing streak that the Mavs had (6 or 7 straight loses due to having 4-5 starters with covid protocols or injuries) he realized that he must be more efficient and have a better shot selection, because he can no longer rely on KP 30 PPG or THJ+Seth Curry from last year. And i also think that he is still not forcing himself too much, in my opinion we will see his best version in the PO if his supporting cast doesn't fail by a lot and the other teams can't 3-1 him all the game. The only one who has been able to stop him that i remember was Ben Simmons but he cooked every single opponent since then.

Lost count of the number of assist he didn't get because his teammates couldn't hit wide open looks that he got them, and at least 3 of those were what should have been easy dunks. Luka should have finished the game with at least 10 more assist than what was officially shown. He needs better teammates that can actually put the ball in the basket. And this has been the same pattern happening throughout the entire season. The dude should be leading the NBA in assists at this point in the season.

He passed soo many times to his teammates and these 7 assists are nothing, if this man played with Brooklyn or Clippers, in this game yeah, he would have 26 points on 48% shooting from the field, but he would have 10 assist more, he would easily have 17 assists in this game and maybe even 20, because he passed the ball soo much times, his teammates always hsd the ball in their hands, they missed soo many open threes and also missed clear dunks, which this 7 assists are nothing for him.
